Buhari also praised other members of the group for their steadfastness and seriousness in carrying out their activities.

President Muhammadu Buhari has thanked #BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) convener, Oby Ezekwesili for her aggression and leadership in demanding for the rescue of the abducted Chibok girls.

He also assured them that his administration would never disrupt their ongoing agitation for the release of the Chibok girls.

The President made the comments during a meeting with the group on Wednesday, July 8, 2015.

“I thank you very much, madam, for your aggression and your leadership. I assure you I will continue to do my best,” Buhari told Ezekwesili.

“And with you, your steadfastness, and your seriousness we will allow you to do whatever you can do. We will accommodate all your observations, especially the negative ones, about the performance of the government and its agencies,” he said to the group.

During the meeting, Buhari criticized the handling of the girls’ abduction by the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

He also assured the BBOG group of his commitment towards ending terrorism in the country.

Ezekwesili was, in April, in the world due to her continuous and hugely public demands for the missing girls' rescue.
