Army recovers 2 more communities from terrorists

The communities recovered from Boko Haram are Gulag in Adamawa State and Bara in Yobe State.

Nigerian troops have recovered two more communities from terrorist sect, Boko Haram, military sources say.

The recaptured communities are Gulag in Adamawa State and Bara in Yobe State.

The latest development was announced by the Nigerian Defence Headquarters on Friday, February 26.

“We have also flushed out Terrorists from Gulag, Madagali LGA HQ in Adamawa state, earlier today,” the DHQ said via Twitter.

“After 2 Days of intense operations, troops have finally routed terrorists from Bara, Gulani LGA in Yobe,”a subsequent tweet read.

Other communities reportedly cleared of terrorists include, Shikah, Fikayel, Tetebah, Buza, Kamla and Bumsa.

Troops also recovered assorted arms, ammunition and vehicles from Boko Haram during the operation.
