The Federal Government through the office of the Attorney-General has accused Saraki and Ekweremadu of forging the Senate Standing Rules for the June 9, 2015 election, which led to the duo’s emergence as leaders of the senate.

Their trial, which ought to commence on Monday, July 12, was shifted to September 28 due to the vacation of Justice Yusuf Halilu.
