Things You Must Know Before You Change Your Computer

If you're thinking about replacing your computer, here are the facts you MUST know before you buy in...cheap...

Nowadays, technology changes so fast, after a few years your computer is outdated. If you want one that goes faster and has more capacity but is not very expensive, you need to have in mind a few factors.

First of all, a great idea to save money is to sell your old computer. If it still works well, you can try to sell it in a free ads site. That way, you won’t have a computer taking space in your house, and you get some money to buy your new one. You can also search for second hand computers, but of course you need to check if everything is working.

Depending on what applications you usually use, you need to check different features of your system. If you are going to use it just to browse the Internet, send emails, or use office-type of software, most computers will be able to do it fast.

If you also want to listen to music and watch TV and movies, then you need more hardware power. You will need a large screen, bigger hard drive to store the music and movies, and also a good sound card and speakers.

If you want to play games with the best performance, it will be more expensive. Aside from the good screen, the sound card and speakers, you will need a good graphics card, a good processor and a fast hard drive.

Finally, if you are going to be using heavy-duty software, like video editors, you will need a powerful CPU, a lot of memory and a fast hard drive, but maybe you don’t need the powerful graphics card or the large screen, so the price doesn’t go very high.

Of course, there are many other things you need to check. Look for information for the technical specifications and personal opinions about the computers, and also you need to decide whether to buy a laptop, a desktop or a netbook, but these are some ideas to keep in mind and stay in an affordable budget.
