The quest for supremacy between Samsung and Apple has been on for almost eternity and doesn't seem in a hurry to burn out anytime soon.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S
Samsung has been on a quest to create what it calls "The iPad Killer...". Finally, Samsung has its answer in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S...
Samsung has been on a hunt for nearly four years to create a true iPad killer, a viable alternative to the world's most popular tablet in terms of specs, design, capabilities, and price. Unfortunately, until now, none of Samsung's ultimate inventions has been able to stand the iPad.
But now, Samsung has its answer: The Galaxy Tab S.
The Samsung Galaxy tab S comes in two sizes, 8.4 or 10.5 inches. It is priced the same as the iPad Mini/iPad Air. (N65,000 for the 8.4-incher or N82,500 for the 10.5-incher.)
Specs and Features
- It has a crisp display, fingerprint sensor, and software design.
- it's thinner and lighter than the iPad.
- The biggest selling point is the screen, which uses the same technology introduced in the Galaxy S5.
- It's sharp, bright, and HD video looks incredible.
- It can also automatically adjust its colors to suit the lighting in the room. Display experts, who are a lot smarter than I am, have already dubbed Samsung's mobile display technology
- Battery life is pretty good too.
Cons
Android is still a bad experience on the tablet. That problem isn't necessarily Samsung's fault, but it's one of the realities you have to face if you choose to go with an Android tablet. Developers simply don't support Android tablets the way they support the iPad.
So we give it to Samsung. It finally has its iPad killer with the impressive Galaxy Tab S, but pricing it equally with the iPad may not go down too well especially with the lack of tablet-optimized apps on Android, make it a tougher sell.
