A new report has revealed that Apple will unveil its latest batch of iPad and Mac computers later this week.
The company will launch its latest gadgets on October 16, at its California Headquarters. These new products could go on sale from October 24, with the new Mac software called Yosemite, available as a free download even earlier.
According to Business Recorder, rumours making the rounds last week claimed that Apple was putting finishing touches to a new version of its iPad Air, including a gold version.
It is expected that the October 16 event will reveal the new line of products, including the so-called iPad Pro, the iPad Air 2 as well as its newest operating system called OS X Yosemite.
Although, Apple Inc. is yet to reveal any specification but it has been assumed that Apple iPad Pro which will be unveiled next week is said to have 12.0-inch screen and will be available in the market sometime next year. It will also feature the latest A8X chipset that is also offered in the new iPhone versions.
Meanwhile, new iPad Air 2 will feature anti-reflective coating for the cover lens, full lamination for the touch panel, a gold-coloured metal casing, an A8 processor, Touch ID/fingerprint recognition and an 8-megapixel rear camera. It may also have a bigger 2 GB RAM with Touch ID features that was seen earlier on iPhone 5s. The new iPad Air 2 will also have a slimmer case compared to its predecessor.
