From "bendgate" to "hairgate" and loss of signal/connectivity, the new iPhone 6 Plus is still generating complains from a number of users.
iPhone 6 Plus Users Report Crashes And Continuous Reboot
Though Apple has recorded success in its sale of the new iPhone 6 Plus, the same cannot be said of handling the numerous complaints trailing the device.
Some owners of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus smartphone which launched earlier this month are now reporting that their devices have been crashing, causing it to go into a loop which continuously reboots.
Also, some other users claim to be on their fourth replacement device after taking them to Apple stores to be repaired. However, it does seem to be only affecting the larger storage 128GB iPhone 6 Plus.
The crashes seem to happen on the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus when users have installed a large number of applications and hints that some of the applications that have been downloaded by users may not be compatible with the iPhone 6 Plus hardware.
Although the exact trigger hasn't been discovered as yet. The Apple Insider website explains that some users have been able to correct the issue but then other seem to have the problem re-occur :
"As for workarounds, some are seeing varying success in restoring the phone as new, then manually installing each previously purchased app one-by-one. However, as mentioned above, a good number of owners have tried this tactic to no avail.
Manually reinstalling purchased apps is a time consuming process and seemingly does not provide a surefire solution to the problem. In fact, some forum members say the fix only lasts for a few minutes before the phone once again enters into a crash cycle."
At the current time Apple has not issued any official response to the reports of the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus crashing and continual reboot issues, but as soon as more information becomes available from any sources we will keep you updated as always.
