Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi gets thousands of sick constituents treated

Senator Hunkuyi of Kaduna North has organised a health exercise, ensuring treatment for thousands of constituents living with various ailments.

The senator representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the National, Suleiman Hunkuyi has commenced treatment of thousands of constituents affected with various ailments.

Already, Kaduna State government has approved the use of government Health Centres in the zone for screening and treatment of people faced with various diseases such as hydrocele, hernia, cataracts, appendices and fibroid.

It was gathered that a team of experts were assembled and task with fact finding mission but their reports reveal some ailments affecting the people of the area which needs special intervention from.

"After that report that revealed various ailments, Senator Hunkuyi has now engaged the services of an International Organisation known as 'Professionals for Humanity' to treat these ailment," a resident of the area, Umar Haruna said.

It was gathered that Hunkuyi launched the first phase of the exercise at Anchau/Kubau local governments where the International Organization will screen all persons and identify those with the aforementioned ailment in the eight local government areas that made up the Zone.

"The International Organization will visit some selected Health Centres in the Zone for upgrading and equipped them with some instruments required to address the ailments."

"Also, the International organization will give free medication and surgery to all those screened with any of the ailments within the Zone. The Organization is also expected to train some of the medical staffs in those selected health Centres on additional skills to handle the identified cases" Umar added.
