Deadly robbers kill man by throwing him from 3-storey building

A former Nigerian Ambassador to South Africa has been killed by robbers after he was thrown out of the window of his third floor apartment.

The man, according to the reports, was said to have landed on his head and died instantly just as the corpse was found in a drainage beside the house in a mutilated state with the skull shattered.

A sympathiser at the scene said the man, who hailed from Niger State, stayed alone in his flat on the third floor of the building while his family members lived abroad and had just returned to the country from a medical trip to South Africa.

The Divisional Police Officer of Utako Police State, CSP Eze Nwankeneme, who was seen at the scene, said the body of the deceased had been evacuated and deposited at the mortuary of the National Hospital, Abuja.
