«Why I Dumped The Jam Session»...Solid Star Reveals

It’s quite contradicting to his personality but it’s true, Singer Solid Star angrily stormed out of the July Jam Session which held at The Place Lounge, Lekki and never came back. The fact is the Skibo crooner was one of the headliners to that event alongside JJC Skillz.

It was a full house with loads of big stars – Tuface Idibia, Davido, Kcee, Minjin, Skuki, B-Red, Dj Exclusive, Eminent etc and abundant fans to cheer the artists performing with the live band. Everyone was so excited and waiting for the big moment when Solid Star would mount the podium.

Sorry guys, but that never happened. Few minutes to his performance, Solid star took to the door alongside his protégé Xcellent, manager and Tuface. It was that bad.

Sadly, the singer was made to watch two hefty bouncers rough handle his boss at the door. The CEO of Achievers’ Records, who approved of the singer to take part in the event without any payment, and his wife were asked not to come in because they didn't have IVs. Eye witnesses claimed he was been pushed when he insisted he had to go through. Solid Star’s manager was said to have come to the rescue twice before forwarding the matter to the organizers who didn't do anything to remedy the CEO’s reputation.

In that horror, Solid Star asked to leave the event before his performance. Sources say all apologies and pleas fell on deaf ears as Solid Star was escorted to his car.

“It was very embarrassing. I mean, how could Solid Star’s boss and his wife be refused entrance into an event which his boy is performing? Even after the bouncers were been told, they still denied him entrance. What made it worse was that the organizers didn't do anything to handle the situation”...Solid Star’s manager dished out. “That was crazy and Solid Star actually saw everything that happened. He then insisted he won’t perform and should be taken to the car”...He concluded.

And that’s how the July Jam Session ended. Partying till dawn followed suit with Dj Exclusive spinning the tapes. However, Solid Star and the Organizers have reportedly resolved the situation, manager have confirmed to Pulse!
