Usher Raymond May Lose His Parental Custody Over Sons

After losing a child to a boat accident last year, R&B singer Usher Raymond is under fire again, for not being able to protect his other two children.

The singer’s ex wife, Tameka Foster has filed for an emergency custody hearing over her two sons she had with the singer. Apparently, Usher wasn't home when his 5 year old son, Usher Raymond V accidentally fell into his dad’s pool. According to reports, the child was trying to retrieve a toy that was trapped in an underwater pool drain. Eye witnesses claim, the boy almost drowned because his arm got stuck in the drain while he was beneath the water. He was however rushed to hospital where he got stabled.

Tameka’s legal representative, Angela Kinley maintains that, ‘the child is at risk while in the care of a third-party caregiver…while his father (Usher) travels around the world for his work-related activities.”

However, the kid was saved by some two male contractors who were working at the house when his aunt and the housekeeper couldn't help. Tameka who divorced Usher in 2009, immediately filed for custody saying her children’s lives are at stake under the father’s care.

The emergency hearing is scheduled for Friday.
