According to Turkish media, the 3-year-old found washed up a beach in Turkey this week is named Aylan Kurdi.
Drowned Syrian child identified
Photos of him with his brother, Galip, 5 (who also reportedly drowned) and his father, Abdullah Kurdi, has been provided identifying the child.

On Wednesday morning, the body of a drowned Syrian child, washed ashore of of the Turkish beaches, where it was found by a government official.
Photos of him with his brother, Galip, 5 (who also reportedly drowned) and his father, Abdullah Kurdi, has been provided identifying the child.

Kurdi said his wife, their mother, also drowned with them.
