TV talk show suspended after revealing she supports abortion

A TV talk show in the United States has been suspended after the hostess said on air that she supports women having a selective abortion.

Tomi Larhen has been suspended over her views on abortion

Daily Mail reports that Lahren, a political commentator was suspended a few months to the end of her show in September following the comments which were seen as inflammatory.

Lahren’s inflammatory style has been seen as placing her at odds with other employees at The Blaze, with the tensions being escalated after she called pro-life conservatives hypocrites in an appearance on ABC’s 'The View' on Friday.

On the show, Lahren was quoted as saying that she is pro-limited government, and so not being pro-choice would make her a hypocrite.

Immediately after the show, her fanbase took to Twitter to lash out at her and she was barred from appearing on the show after she sparked fury among her fans for talking on The View about her pro-choice stance.

Lahren gained viral fame for her extreme remarks about millennials, liberals, and 'snowflakes'.

There are speculations that the 24-year-old's may not continue with the show after her contract runs out in September, and people have speculated whether or not she's gunning for Megyn Kelly's job on Fox News.

Leon Wolf, managing editor at 'The Blaze' told Daily Mail that staffers were informed that Lahren's show would not air this week though he did not use the word suspended.

Lahren had made an appearance on 'The View,' saying that she believed in limited government, so for her to be against abortion rights would make her a 'hypocrite', explaining that she was all about the constitution and limited government and reportedly said on the show:

'Stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body, as well'.

Her segments on the show often tackled polarizing political issues such as Black Lives Matter, and regularly went viral on Facebook.

In the past, she has even made comments that suggested that women who get abortions are murderers and not long after the interview, her conservative fan-base started to lash out at her on Twitter.

They blamed her for selling out for the 'approval of a few random ladies,' and called her attention seeking.

Some were particularly offended that she made a comment that saying she would be a hypocrite for being pro-life.

"I can't sit here and be a hypocrite and say I'm for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies," she said.

According to TMZ, the decision to bench Lahren came from head honcho Glenn Beck, who was 'incensed' at her comment, claiming that it was a betrayal of the network's core values.

Sources said that Beck was forced to suspend her show for a week or risk mutiny from the fan-base. However, some have also been so bold as to suggest that Beck is actually threatened by the attention Lahren is receiving on both ends of the spectrum.
