Woman nabbed while planting cocaine in pastor's house
A woman who wanted to plant cocaine in the house of a pastor to implicate him has been arrested by the NDLEA.
According to the drug busting agency, the 30-year-old Ogundare had sneaked Pastor Richard Ekenne's house in Kano State and planted the dangerous drug but was caught in the very act, and handed over to the NDLEA.
The suspect has been arraigned today before Justice Zainab Abubakar of the Federal High Court in th stat by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The Kano State Commander of the NDLEA, Hamza Umar, said the accused, in her confessional statement, said she wanted to punish Pastor Ekenne for offending her.
This is what she purportedly said:
“I am not in good terms with Pastor Richard. We even have a pending case at the Magistrate Court here in Kano.
That was why I wanted to plant cocaine in his apartment to implicate him but I was caught in the process by NDLEA officers.”
