Toke Makinwa launched her book about her failed marriage with Maje Ayida on Sunday, November 27, 2016. On this day she graced the cover of Guardian Life Magazine. Oddly enough, her ex-husband was on the cover of This Day Style.

Days after the launch, Toke Makinwa is now on the cover of another magazine '' with Africa's biggest media woman Bonang Matheba.

Most Nigerian celebrities should take a note or two from Toke Makinwa. The publicity of her book is a total blitz. She is everywhere from magazines, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram. Now, this is what you call publicity and not just randomly releasing new photos.

You might not care much for her book but you cannot deny that the hype around 'On Becoming' has been huge. Honestly, celebrities do little or nothing when promoting their latest offering.
