A young couple has been found dead in a double suicide as indications point to a pregnancy she was carrying as the cause of their action.
14-year-old girl and her lover, 22 commit suicide over pregnancy
The girl and her much older boyfriend were found dangling from the same tree with their hands around each other
14-year-old Irina Korovina and Anatoly Maslov, 22 were found with their hands wrapped around each other on a tree near the Russian town of Tver.
The couple didn’t leave a suicide note to explain their actions but investigations have revealed that the girl’s parents tried to get her to abort the 3-month-old pregnancy.
The teenager’s mother said that they had only found out about the pregnancy that day and had tried to end the relationship due to the age difference.
