It is a given that some nationals of other African countries do not like Nigerians because of what they perceive as the uncommon push and never say die spirit of Nigerians. They often mistake their industry for self importance, not knowing that the average Nigerian is one who does not give up easily.

It is that mistrust that makes them see any Nigerian coming into their country as criminals, drug dealers and killers.

Most of all, they hate Nigerian men, especially when the men take over their businesses, economy and their women.

Last year, a Kenyan woman took to Twitter to castigate men from Nigeria, calling them fraudsters who play with the hearts of women from other countries, warning her people to stay away from men from the West African country.

It is now the turn of Ugandans who, reacting to the allegation of a Nigerian man killing one of their women in China, have taken to the social media to label all Nigerians as scumbags, crooks, killers and all sorts of names.

Read some of the derogatory names the East Africans pour on Nigerians:

Robbie Bell: Nigerian men are dishonest and not loyal; who can steal from the right and put the stolen to the left pocket.

Robbie Bell: (Not yet done) Nigerian men are wicked at heart; they have spoiled the name of African countries in all continents across the globe. All I've heard and seen before have no value for life. They only consider money; its not love, its powers of evil they use to blind fold. RIP sister

Sheila Ebaka: Hopeless cursed creatures are these Nigerians! I so detest them. Loath the whole Nigerian situation and I pray we send them out off Uganda! Operation clean my country.

Richard Kiyaga: Nigerian scavengers; all they know is robbing, violence and they're are loathe beings. We have lost such a beauty in the hands of the beast all in the name of love.

Faya Ball: I have spent years with Nigerians and the average Nigerian is a drug peddler, money launderer, counterfeit dishonest crook. Am talking about average. The Nigerian culture is such that a woman is nothing but a helper to a man, something like an upgraded maid.

Most Nigerians that leave their country to try else where are illiterates and usually come straight from the village. Yes new things seem to look exciting but trust me, no sane, well educated or organised properly brought up girl is going to fall for a Nigerian thug.

It's our not so in a Good "financial space" sisters who are lured by money and a union that isn't properly founded that is going no where slowly. Nigerians are the scums of this earth. Open ur eyes my sisters.

Edith Kironde: There is nothing good with Nigerian guys. Most of them are thieves, witches, crooks, stalkers..... endless list. Please gals just stick to Ugandan guys; they are loyal, honest and will never be as aggressive as those goons. So sad she left very young kids.

Maria Nalubowa: Nigerian guys are monsters, you've forgotten to put that.

Sheila Ebaka: We need our government through ministry of internal affairs to put us citizens ahead of anything else and as such clean weed our country off these rogues and scumbags! Or we shall take it upon our selves to do so!

Sarah Miracle: A Nigerian's money is never genuine; if it's not drugs, it's 'Yahoo-Yahoo' or robbery. So please let paper not make you take someone's life remember its a soul your destroying. God's judgement a waits you Hell is real.

Patrick Mwesigye: We shall also marry Nigerians and kill them afterwards for revenge.

Faya Ball: Nigger, how many Nigerian women have married outside Nigeria? Their women are just as dubious as their husbands. Juju is like oxygen to them. An apple tree can't produce a mango.

See finishing!
