"My name is Gabriel, a 36-year-old man. I have been married for eight years now but I am sure if things do not change soon, I will have no option but to divorce my wife.

Martha has suddenly become a religious bigot after she became born again two years ago and every attempt to make her realize she is a married woman has failed and even intervention by her family members have not seen her reduce her bigotry.

For the avoidance of doubt, I have not stopped her from practicing her new-found faith. In fact, when she announced that she gave her life to Christ, I was very happy for her as I know that a praying wife can be a great asset to her family.

But my wife has taken the whole thing too far and it is affecting our home in so many ways. My wife has practically abandoned a shop I spent millions of Naira to set up for her as she attends church practically every day of the week.

There must be one program or the other that she would need to attend and if there is none, she must be at the pastor’s house to assist ‘daddy and mummy’ in one thing or the other.

She even neglects cooking at home or doing any household chore but makes sure her GO’s house is in order.

She practically lives in the church because she must attend one vigil or the other. I can’t even talk to my wife about sex. Anytime I try to make love to her, she would bind the dirty demon that lives in me and is making me a candidate for hell.

If she is not fasting, she would be undergoing one assignment or the other and at such times, I dare not touch her.

Martha who is just 30, was once a very pretty lady with the right curves in the right places, has suddenly aged as she has neglected herself and now dresses like an old woman.

For her, make up is from the marine spirit and wearing anything that does not edify God is totally unchristian like.

In the past two years, I can count the number of times my wife has allowed me to sleep with her and most times, I have to practically force her.
