The weather did not consider Team Lily's plans on Day Four
Rain and dark clouds threatened to cancel out Natasha, Debrah and Otega's efforts.
But after waiting for hours waiting for things to either get worse or better, the team decided it was time to leave.
It was somewhat late at this pont, so the choice was made to be pragmatic in choosing a location. The result: the always busy Lekki Phase 1 Gate.
It seemed like a pretty obvious choice but what it lacked in novelty, the team made up for in nerve.
Debrah kicked things off with her usual extra side of enthusiasm. It gave her results when she got a curious couple to take some shine from the camera and answer her questions.
They gave her one very promising set of talking heads and in little time, she had all six that she needed.
Otega brought the intensity down a bit, but it wasn’t that you could tell from just observing her.
The way she chose to stop prospective participants, by jumping in their way, was more interesting than one would expect. But she got her quota and with the night falling, it was Natasha who rounded things off.
The difference in her approach came straight out of the gates; she handled the problem of getting passers-by to answer her questions by adapting her persona to get them comfortable.
It worked, and the people she spoke with were diverse and willing participants.
With their tasks completed, the team touched down at Pulse Nigeria HQ in Lekki. There they spoke about the evening’s experience and their hopes for the elimination show.
That elimination features the judge’s assessments of the contestants and a final trimming of the contestants to a final three.
