Readers believe there is nothing too hard for God to do
54% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters are of the belief that waiting for God's time is always the best option in every situation.
Read her letter here:
"My name is Ruth, a 48-year-old woman. I remember that I wrote in to Pulse in 2014 over my battle with childlessness after over 24 years of marriage and how my mother-in-law made life a living hell for me.
Life was not worth living for me and at times, I even contemplated suicide because everyone turned their backs on me, including my husband. His parents got him a woman from their village with the hopes that she would give them the grandchild they so desired and when the girl could not satisfy their desires, I was blamed for it.
I was called so many derogatory names including being a witch and that I had eaten all the children in my womb as well as those of the new wife.
I remember the pains I was in when I wrote in and asked fellow readers to help me with their prayers and advice as I was a total wreck. I also remember how readers reached out to me with consolatory words and how one man of God called and prayed for me, assuring me that my pains will soon be a thing of the past.
I can confidently say that God in His infinite mercies, used those readers to touch me at the point when everyone had abandoned me as I am now a proud mother of twin babies, both males. I gave birth two months ago and I should have written earlier than now but I then, I believe it is never too late.
I want to thank Pulse and its readers for standing by me, praying for me and helping me in the times I almost lost all hopes. I also want to use this medium to tell every woman out there who is going through what I went through to keep the faith and trust that God will always make a way.
God will continue to bless the works of your hands.
Ruth."
