"My name is Anastasia, a 40-year-old lady living and working in Lagos. I have a problem I want to share with other readers, hoping I will get some good words of advice to deal with it.
The problem I have is that at my age, nor have any serious man who is willing to marry me. It is not that I am bad looking or have a nasty character but the fact remains that I have been very unlucky with men.
I don't know why I keep meeting the wrong men since my university days as all they wanted was to have sex with me and whenever they had their fill, they would just dump me as if I was a piece of filthy rag.
When I graduated, I got a job with a multi-national company with very good pay and perks. That was when I met who professed so much love for me.
Candy was just a struggling young man and because of the love I had for him and with the dream of getting married to him, I did all I could to help him.
I gave him money to set up a business since he said he was not willing to work under anyone. But once the business picked up and he began making money, Candy got out of my life. The way he did it was so nasty that I cried so much and even tried to commit suicide by taking an overdose of sleeping tablets.
Since then, it has always been the same story with every man that comes my way. They will sleep with me, 'eat' my money and run away.
Now I am so disturbed. I want to get married and start a family before menopause knocks. But the problem is that I have not found any man.
Anastasia."
