For fondling the breast of his female customer without her consent, a 45-year-old trader, Sunny Onugu, was charged before a Kado Grade 1 Area Court sitting in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, on a two-count charge of gross indecency and assault.

The police prosecutor in the case, Salisu Khaleel, told the court that one Adeyemi Rafiu had reported that the defendant had touched her breast when she went to his shop to purchase an item, an action she did not find funny.

Khaleel said that Onugu, a resident of Plot 26, Dan-Suleiman Street, Utako, in the FCT, touched Rafiu on the breast without her consent while she was paying for a candle she bought at his shop and that when the woman protested over the assault, accused defendant allegedly slapped her on the face.

When the charges were read to him, Onugu, pleaded not guilty and the judge, Malam Abubakar Sadiq, granted him bail in the sum of N50, 000 with one surety in like sum.

A young lady who allegedly stole a phone in a shopping mall in Warri, Delta State, was given a strange form of jungle justice after she was stripped naked, beaten silly and molested sexually by an elated mob comprising mostly of young men, reported Futa Xtra.

According to the report, the lady had stolen the phone, a Tecno Boom J8 said to be worth N48,000, at the Robbinson Plaza in the town but was unlucky as she was caught and given the disgrace of her life as the mob, apart from stripping her and beating her to a pulp, molested her by forcing sticks, bottles and iron rods into her private parts.

In what can be said to be an exact rendition of the famous law of Karma, a man identified as Elder Ndarake, who found pleasure in sleeping with best friend's wife, was caught stuck inside the woman during another round of adulterous sex.

According to an eyewitness, the sordid incident happened in a community in the Ibiono Ibom Local Government of Akwa Ibom State when the culprit, said to be an elder in a local church and a close friend of the husband of the woman whose name was given as Ubon Ekanem.

A man was given a taste of jungle justice after snatching a woman's handbag in the Gwagwalada area of Abuja.

The incident took place in the morning on Thursday, September 22, at the SDP junction in the area.

According to an eyewitness, the man identified only as Daniel, trailed the unidentified victim who had a baby strapped to her back on a motorcycle after leaving the bank.

Immediately she got off the bike, Daniel snatched the handbag and took to his heels. Unfortunately for him, a group of motorcyclists chased him down and apprehended him, tearing off his clothes and giving him the beating of his life.

A young student decided to end his life after he failed the recently conducted UTME results. The unidentified young man could not live with the fact that he could not make the cutoff marks in the examinations and felt the only way out is to end it all.

“A student has allegedly killed himself over the issue of his UTME. This boy claims to be writing his UTME for the first time and reportedly scored 159 which gives him no chances of admission."

A middle-aged pastor in Asaba, Delta State revealed sad details of how he caught his wife pants down with the choirmaster of his church at a hotel room.

In a report by Leadership newspaper, the pastor who spoke to journalists disclosed that he had been informed of his wife's illicit affair with the choirmaster but refused to believe it until he caught the lovers in a hotel room.

The quest for quick money has led to the death of a 16-year-old Senior Secondary School One [SSS1], student, Raimi Fatai after he allegedly died following the administration of a liquid substance on him by three of his classmates during a money ritual process in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

It was gathered that the deceased and his mates had embarked on the money ritual route after one of them whose father is a native doctor, promised them that the substance would make them rich.

A 59-year-old physically challenged man, Mr Olaiya Adeagbo, has pleaded with an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his 23-year-old marriage, accusing his wife of infidelity.

He told the court on Monday that that his wife with whom he had four children, was having an affair with his neighbour.

"I always received a tip-off from our neighbours that my wife is having an affair with one of our neighbours who was a bachelor.

"That fateful day, I came back home earlier and could not find her in our room, two of my neighbours told me that they sighted her when she sneaked into her lover's room.

"I went to knock on his door but he refused to open after hearing my voice.

"I continued knocking and he later opened his door, and I saw my wife hiding behind his door sweating and panting, I greeted her and left.

"After some days, her lover died and my wife disappeared from the house without taking anything and refused to come back.

"My wife later went to marry another man, who also died after some months of their marriage,'' he said.

The petitioner also told the court that his wife fights a lot with their neighbours.

The surviving member of the three-man robbery gang that robbed a Police Inspector after he withdrew some money in a bank in the Idimu area of Lagos State, Jafar Ismail, has told police operatives that his gang normally get information on any customer who withdraws a huge sum of money from a staff in the bank.

Ismail and his gang members had attacked the officer identified as Inspector Musa, on Monday, August 1, 2016, shortly after he walked out of the bank, shooting him in the jaw before snatching his money.

In November 2016, Nigeria was rocked by the news of a boy beaten and burnt to death by a mob for allegedly stealing garri. As Nigerians were shocked about the news, there were later claims that the boy actually stole a phone and was a member of a deadly gang of robbers in Lagos.
