School bus conductor defiles 5-yr-old pupil

A school bus conductor has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 5-year-old girl in his charge.

A 25-year-old man who is a conductor on a school bus that picks pupils to and from school in the Kubwa area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, has been arrested by the police for

Daily Trust reports that the conductor identified simply as John, carried out the evil act inside the bus after school hours.

It was gathered that the bus was conveying the children home from the school, when John took advantage of the kid and defiled her by inserting his fingers into the victim’s private part, while the vehicle was in motion, before dropping her at a bus stop close to her house.

A police source said:

“The girl, on getting home, reported the incident to her parents who later took her to the hospital where she was confirmed to have been abused.

The source said the incident was later reported to the police by the parents and the suspect was arrested."
