No Rings For Mikel Obi! Denies Wedding Plans With Beauty Queen

And we all taught 2face has started an altar rush!

Chelsea strongman John Mikel Obi has burst our romantic bubble. Yesterday news made the rounds that the Super Eagles star is making plans to hook up legally with Sandra Okagbue, who is a former Miss Delta State beauty queen. According to the gist, introduction of both families would be held in Onitsha on Sunday March 31.

But No! Mikel has come out to deny the story. Speaking to Kick Off sports reporter, Colin Udoh, the footballer revealed that’s he does actually know Miss Okagbue, but just as friends (with an emphasis on 'friends').

«I don't understand where this is coming from. I know her. We're friends, but we haven't spoken in a long time and definitely not about marriage.»

We believe you Mikel Obi.
