A Lagos State based trader, Florence Dada, has been remanded at the Ikoyi Prisons by Magistrate B.O. Ope-Agbe of the Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly killing another trader at the Jakande Market, Ikosi-Ketu, during a brawl.
Female trader in prison for killing colleague
A female Lagos trader who killed her colleague during a quarrel has been remanded in prison.
The 43-year-old Dada, who is being charged for murder, will remain in custody until September 15 when her case would be heard, reportedly killed Simiat Abdulazeezi during a quarrel and she fell and hit head on a hard object.
The prosecutor in the case, ASP Elizabeth Ekuma, told the court that the offence was committed on July 10, at about 7.00 am, at the market.
“An argument ensued between the accused and one Simiat Abdulazeezi who is now deceased.
Dada had pushed Abdulazeezi during a brawl and she hit her head on a positioned vehicle leading to her death."
