Would you report your spouse if he/she committed a crime?

If your spouse is a criminal, would you report him/her to the police?

Nkechi, a married mother of three is presently languishing in police custody, where she has been in detention for the past four weeks owing to the fact that her husband, Emeka, is on the run and the police are holding on to her till he is arrested.

Her road to the police cell began when the police stormed their apartment looking for her husband whom they accused to being the leader of a robbery gang.

The police told her that Emeka and his gang were involved in a series of bank robbery where many policemen and innocent people were killed.

The police were able to arrest some of Emeka's boys and they all confessed that he is their leader.

Nkechi's claims that she did not know that her husband of 10 years was an armed robber is being taken with a pinch of the salt by the police who believe she must have known about his criminal activities all the years they were married.

While she is still bearing the pains of her husband's crime, we ask on Morning Teaser today: would you report your spouse to the police if he or she commits a crime?
