Would you live in a house built by your wife?

Would you live in a house that your wife built without telling you? That is the dilemma Akindele is facing.

Akindele is in a dilemma at the moment; he is in two minds and do not know what to do. The source of his worry stems from the fact that Kike, his wife of 10 years, and mother of his four children, did something he never expected she would do.

She is director in an oil company while he works in a multi-national company but what she earns is five times his salary. Aside the salary, she does some contract jobs and makes quite a huge sum of money.

But she made a mistake along the line. She bought a land in a choice area of Lagos and quietly, built a duplex without telling her husband till the house was completed and she surprised him by telling him they are moving into the house.

A shocked Akindele could not believe it when she took him to see the mansion and to his surprise, her siblings were already living in the house and knowing them for what they are, they are sure to tell him the history of his life anytime he steps out of bounds.

He is now confused and is not too comfortable with moving into the house with his wife knowing that anytime he has issues with her, her family would be quick to remind him that the house does not belong to him.

So on Morning Teaser today, we ask: would you live in a house built by your wife? As a woman, would you build a house without letting your husband know?
