'I realised that my fiancee has 3 kids for different men'

Patrick who was set to marry Valerie, has suddenly discovered she has three children for three different men instead of the one she told him.

"Dear Pulse,

My name is , a 38-year-old man living and working in Lagos. I have an issue that has been giving me cause for concern and wish your readers could come to my aid with some useful advice.

As I write this, my happiness is about to be truncated because of the deceit of my fiancee, . When I met her two years ago, she had told me she was a whom I promised to adopt and treat as mine when we eventually get married.

The boy also took to me and called me dad right from the first day we met. When I introduced Valerie to my family and told my parents she had a child out of wedlock but that I still wanted to marry her, they reluctantly accepted her.

In March this year, we had our introduction and the wedding was set for July but I made a shocking discovery that told me that some women can never be trusted. I met an old friend who happened to be from Valerie's hometown and told him that very soon, I would become his in-law.

After discussing for a while, I told him who my wife to be was and he asked how I would be able to cope with her three children.

I was confused and told him Valerie had only one child and that I have already accepted him but he swore that she actually has three. When I left him, I went to Valerie's home and asked her to tell me the whole truth and lo and behold, she confessed that she actually had three children and had planned to tell me about them but did not know how to go about it.

When I broke the news to my parents, they forbade me from marrying her and my father especially swore to disown me if I went ahead to marry her.

I am very confused at the moment because I love Valerie with all my heart but her deceitful character has really turned me off.
