Few weeks after South Africa joined a litany of countries all over the world including England, New Zealand, Scotland, and Canada amongst many, where adultery is no longer a criminal offence, some human rights activists in Nigeria say they have begun moves to push such a bill to the National Assembly so that adultery can be legalized in Nigeria.
Do you support calls that adultery be legalized in Nigeria?
Some human rights activists think that adultery should be legalized in Nigeria.
Leaders of the group seeking for the legalization, believe that the law, as it is in Nigeria today, favours the men who are at liberty to sleep with other women even when they are married, while the women are at a disadvantage.
The group which consists of renowned feminists, believe what is accepted as a norm for men, should as well be applicable to women and as such, adultery should not be seen as a sin or crime.
Now, on Morning Teaser today, we ask: do you support the call that adultery should be legalized in Nigeria?
