“We are at our wit’s end because we don’t even know how to come about that huge amount of money. We don’t even know how a teacher is expected to raise N20m.”

Ajibade went on to appeal to the kidnappers to have mercy and release the teacher who is described as doing his best to impart knowledge on the society.

He also pleaded with the state government as well as security agencies; the Directorate of State Services, the Police, and the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps to aide the grieving family.

As earlier reported, Oke was returning to his station with his mother and wife, when they were attacked by gunmen.
