Khloe Kardashian Supports Lamar After Leaving His Spanish Team

Lamar Odom may have broken Khloe Kardashian’s heart but she continues to be supportive of her ex.

Khloe Kardashian has reached out to her ex hubby, Lamar Odom after learning about his drastic decision to quit his Spanish basketball team.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star still has a soft spot in her heart for her 34 year ex. In fact, she called her ex to give him some words of encouragement and to let him know how "proud" she is of all the positive changes he’s been making in his life, according to HollywoodLife.com.

Khloe and Lamar are separated and don't speak on a regular basis, but the two recently had a sweet conversation on the phone post his exit from Spain.

"It was brief but it made all the difference to him," the friend reveals, "It made him feel better when she said, 'I'm sorry it didn't work out, but don’t let that stop you from pushing forward and getting back on the court. I’m proud of the changes you've been making."

Could this mean that Khloe wants to reawaken their relationship? Answer is;

"She's not taking him back or anything like that, she's just being very sweet and kind," the source explains. "That was extremely nice of her to do and it caught Lamar off guard. Her words made his day, made him feel special and they will not be forgotten. It just reinforces how great of a girl Khloe is and how great of a loss Lamar has suffered as a result of his actions,which ruined their otherwise happy marriage."
