According to the reports, the rape suspect was apprehended by the vigilante group in the area made up of landlords and tenants.
Instablog9ja reports that the suspect is a member of the Baddo gang that has been holding the community to ransom.

The suspect was stripped naked and his hands tied behind his back before being beaten to a pulp.
The young man has since been handed over to the police at the Owode police station.
