Ex-militant bathes former lover with acid because she called it quits

A jealous lover who could not take the fact that his woman wanted to leave him, took the wrong stop by bathing her with acid.

For attempting to back out of a relationship when she realised that her lover was a married man with 3 children and a criminal, a 24-year-old lady, Juliet Osimen, has had her face and body disfigured with acid poured on her by her ex-lover, a repentant militant from from Ndokwa West local government area of Delta State, known as Austin.

The Edo State born hair stylist, once a drop dead beauty, has been left with a beastly look through a cruel attack by a man who once pledged undying love for her.

As she battles to survive after almost one year of intensive care at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin, she requires more that N5 million for a medical trip to Indian for corrective surgery to bring her back to her former self.

Narrating her ordeal in the hands of a man she said was so loving and generous, Juliet, whose father is a pastor, said she decided to call off the relationship when she discovered that Austin was a criminal who was involved in kidnapping and robbery as well as being an ex-militant warlord.

Apart from that, she also found that she was a married man with 3 children.

But her decision to get out of the affair when she found out the truth about him, led to the man pouring acid on her, disfiguring her.

That was the point Austin decided that if he could not get Juliet, then no man would. He stalked her to her house at night and while she was sleeping, he sneaked to her window and emptied a can of acid on her.

Today, Juliet is begging kind hearted Nigerians to help her to raise the money to go for the corrective surgery.

In a passionate appeals to Nigerians carried in the Vanguard Newspaper, Juliet's father, Pastor Osimen Sunday, begged Nigerians to come to the aid of his daughter so that they could raise the money needed for the surgery.

"We are appealing to the public to please help us and our daughter with donations to go to India for her surgery.

May God help you as you send your donations to Osimen Sunday, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, account number, 3054669825."
