Jail Bound! Fat Joe Gets 4-Month Jail Term for Tax Evasion

..and yet another rapper gets docked for tax evasion.

Bronx rapper, Fat Joe has been sentenced to four months in jail for failing to pay more than $1million in income taxes. The Puerto Rican rapper had pleaded guilty to tax evasion last December for the years 2007 and 2008 and although he originally faced a 2-year sentence, he will now spend just four months in jail in addition to paying a fine of $15,000 and one-year supervised release.

Although it will be his first time in jail, Fat Joe is no stranger to legal woes as he was arrested in 1998 alongside late friend and former Terror Squad member Big Pun for hitting a man with a baseball bat and stealing his gold chain. In 2002, he was also arrested for fighting with another man in the club and he has been listed as a witness in two different murder cases.
