It’s O-Vah! Toni Braxton Is Officially Single Again And Maybe Gearing Towards A New Album

No more “Un-break my heart, Say you love me again” for singer Toni Braxton on her 12 year old marriage. Bet the 45 year old mama of two is done singing that sad song. The beauty has signed the divorce papers and bid final farewell to husband Keri Lewis after more than 3 years of separation.

The couple tied the knot in April 2001 and were blessed with two sons, Denim,11 and Diezel, 10. A rep for Braxton confirmed that both parties had remained at peace with each other ever since the separation in 2009 in order to raise their kids in love and friendship and will further remain actively involved in raising their sons. No reasons were given for the split but she tweeted, «Sometimes it takes a thousand tries to win.»

The 45-year-old singer became a spokeswoman for an advocacy organization called, Autism Speaks after her 10 year old son Diezel was diagnosed with the condition. She also became a prominent supporter of the American Heart Association.

These two assignments will keep the singer busy but not as busy as returning to the studio to work on her eighth studio album. Miss Braxton confirmed in June that she changed her mind about her music career following a shocking retirement statement she declared in February. Reports claim the beauty will be working with her former producer, Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds on this project. «The whole perspective is a guy and girl, Mars vs. Venus. Despite the excitement of seeing Toni Braxton back to the music scene, she is also focusing on having a film career too.
