38-year-old-man arraigned over alleged theft of N300,000
Olaniyi said the accused obtained the N300,000 belonging to one Boluwatife Grace through false pretence.
The prosecutor, Insp. Femi Olaniyi told the court that the accused committed the offence on Feb.5, at about 9:00 am in Kolade area of Osogbo.

The prosecutor said that the matter was brought to the attention of the police by Grace, who said that Kazeem had falsely used her name to collect the money from one Taliatu Adegbami.
He said the offence contravened Sections 419 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol.11 Laws of Osun, 2003.
When his plea was taken, the accused pleaded not guilty to the two count charge, and his counsel, Mr Alabi Olodo, prayed the court to grant his client bail in most liberal terms.
The Magistrate, Mr Olusola Aluko, granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Aluko said the sureties must reside within the courts jurisdiction, present evidence of tax payment, two passport sized photographs and an affidavit of means.
The magistrate adjourned the case till Nov. 22, for mention.
