The LASTMA officials remain unidentified as they ran away from the scene of the incident which had reportedly taken place in Alakija this afternoon.

An eye witness says that the officials removed their shirts to avoid being identified by enraged members of the public who had heard about the incident.

They allegedly beat the driver, who is yet to be identified, into a coma and was only revived upon reaching the hospital.
