Teenager shoots intruder who turned out to be his father

The masked man heard him coming into the room, he turned to him and pointed the gun in his direction.

According to Scoop, 18 year old Malachi Heisler walked into his mother’s room to find a masked man standing over his mother with a gun.

He said that when the masked man heard him coming into the room, he turned to him and pointed the gun in his direction.

“I had about five to six seconds to make a decision,”

He shot the man once which killed him, only to find out that it was his father.

5 months earlier, Malachi's mother was granted a restraining order against her 46 year old husband John Heisler after a break-in attempt.

John was not only prohibited from going to his wife’s home, but was also banned from possessing weapons.

Investigating the incident, the police found out that john had 2 guns which wasn't supposed to be in his possession.

However, Malachi is not expected to face any charges.
