Man in court over alleged N938, 000 missing property
Counsel to the defendant, A.C. Azubika, applied for his bail, and assured the court that the defendant would not jump bail.
Ileojo, who resides at Wuse Zone 2 Abuja, denied committing the offences.
The prosecutor, Zannah Dalhatu, told the court that one Lawrence Emmanuel of Wuse Zone 6, Abuja, reported the matter at the Utako Police Station, Abuja, on Feb. 23.
Dalhatu said that the complainant alleged that the defendant broke into his apartment in his absence and moved his property to another room, in order to rent his apartment out without his knowledge.
He also alleged that in the process, some of his property got missing, all valued at N938, 000. Dalhatu also said that the offence contravened Sections 342, 287 and 326 of the Penal Code.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him.

The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, granted him bail in the sum of N200, 000 and one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till March 16 for further hearing.
