A heartless mother whose name was given as Esther, has been arrested in Ondo Town, Ondo State, for allegedly dumping her nine-year-old son, Michael, because she wanted to severe all links to her ex-husband after he divorced her and she got married to another man, reports Vanguard.

A mother who dumped her 9-year-old son because she wanted to severe all links with her former husband has been arrested in Ondo.
The police have arrested mother who abandoned her child
Esther was reported to have travelled from Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, to Ondo Town where she dumped the little boy and took off but her luck did not hold fast as she was arrested and she confessed that she dumped the boy because she had no job and no means of taking care of him.
The boy was said to have been found wandering around the town by a resident who took him to a police station and when he was questioned, he said he was a pupil of Saint Fidelis Primary School, Ado Ekiti, and that he came to the town in the company of his mother but did not know her whereabouts for two days.
The boy told the police where he lived with his mother in Ado Ekiti and that was how she was traced and arrested and taken back to Ondo town for interrogation.
