The SAPS had declared Oba wanted in the murder which happened in an apartment in Cape Town and posted a picture of the suspect on its official website, urging anyone with useful information that could lead to his arrest to come forward.
But just a day later, it was reported that Oba was arrested in his hideout while he was planning to escape from the country.
But reports emanating from the Nigerian community in Cape Town have revealed that the incident that led to the death of Okosun was a fraudulent business deal gone sour when Okosun allegedly cornered some amount that a fraud victim had paid to them.
