Damn! Mafikizolo Rakes In 10 - 15 Shows Per Week!

With an average of 10-15 shows per week, the South African music group Mafikizolo are above cloud nine. They have turned their sadness and pain of losing their love ones into a huge passion for success.

Rarely do we hear of musicians or music groups who fall or separate and successfully re unite to create the kind of buzz this particular group is creating at the moment but Mafikizolo have done it and we are very proud of them. The remaining two members of the group had gone solo before, but decided to get back together for the sole purpose of doing good music and representing the African culture worldwide.

The group's comeback album, «Reunited» and lead single 'Khona' has placed them on every DJ's playlist as well as fan's ringtones and party song lists. The album, according to some South African reports ranked at No. 1 on their music charts even at its first week of release. The single 'Khona' has also been on top of the charts for months. That's how famous they've become in Africa!

The group has been to almost all the regions of Africa in less than a year. From Nigeria to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania and many more, every one needs them and they try to be everywhere. Last month, the group had a massive turn out at their concert in East Africa. There were reports of an over populated audience.

«We have come a long way and we are so proud of what we are doing to Africa right now» the group told a reporter. The group have shot another video for the single «Happiness» which features Nigerian singer May D. The song, by the way, is also as powerful as the first, 'Khona'. At this juncture, all we can wish for them is the best of luck and many more good house music.

They are presently in Harare, Zimbabwe this weekend for a concert. Pictures will come up soon. For more on the Mafikizolo, Go To, http://pulse.ng/2013/07/02/mafikizolo-goes-beyond-south-africa-2/
