Abia King of Kidnappers arrested by soldiers
A kidnap kingpin who has been operating freely in Abia State has been arrested by soldiers.
While the 'King' was arrested, two of his boys managed to escape while one of them in his bid to evade arrest through the roof, fell and hit his head on the floor and died instantly.
In a statement issued by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, item recovered from Sunday and his gang 2 AK-47 rifles, 9 AK-47 rifle magazine loaded with 124 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition, 1 Pistol, 2 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 2 machetes and N5.5 million cash.
Other items recovered include a Toyota RAV4 jeep with registration number MUS 428 RZ, military camouflage jungle hat, 6 mobile telephone handsets, an iPad, Diamond Bank Debit Card, bunch of different keys, 2 empty bags and a wrap of marijuana.
