Two blood brothers, Julius and Matthew Abu, have been arrested and charged before a Grade 1 Upper Area Court sitting in Karshi, a suburb of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, for allegedly stealing eggs worth N8 million from a poultry farm.

The siblings, according to the prosecutor, Glory Iheanacho, were employees in the farm belonging to one Victor Okechukwu of Karu, Abuja, but they turned bad and stole 77 crates of eggs over a period of six months.

Iheanacho said that after Okechukwu reported the case at the Jikwoyi Police Station, the police began investigations and got the accused arrested and they confessed to the crime.

Police investigations also led to the arrest of the receivers of the stolen eggs which include Ilube John, Bisi Adegoke and Ibrahim Yakubu.
