Bishop Confesses Affair In Church Then Drops Dead!

Maybe he should have just shut his mouth!

A bishop in Connecticut USA, Bishop Boddy Davis confessed to an affair he had with a lady in the past before his entire congregation then dropped dead of an apparent heart attack on Sunday, March 16.

According to The Connecticut Post, police are investigating the incident. Meanwhile, indications are that he suffered a fatal heart attack after getting a mixed response. He was the founder of the Miracle Faith World Outreach Church in Bridgeport –founded in 1967.

"We were shouting, 'We forgive you, we love you,' but the stress of all of it — he had a heart attack and died before our eyes," parishioner Judy Stovall told the newspaper about the dead bishop.. "I held his head as he laid on the floor … Our congregation is hurting now." she added.

Bishop Davis was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital. The cause of death is still under investigation, according to police sources who spoke to the newspaper.

Meanwhile, an unidentified church member told the Christian Post that it wasn't Davis' idea to come clean on his own before everyone. The member said Davis earlier confessed to his wife and she was the one who insisted that he tells the entire congregation. The revelation freaked out Davis' children, who "got physical," according to the outlet.
