American network PBS, has just aired a documentary profiling gay men in Nigeria and the prosecution they face in light of our country’s anti-gay laws, which saw the passing of the anti-same sex marriage bill passed into law last year.

Journalist Nick Schifrin talked to Christian & Muslim gay men based in Southern & Northern Nigeria like Brian Ifenna, who have been beaten, mobbed and ostracized by their families for their sexuality.
They also profile gay activists in Nigeria trying to create a nurturing environment for LGBT people in a very homophobic society.
