While he was campaigning for the 2015 Presidential elections,
And trust PMB to be a man who keeps his words as he has taken the fight against the canker worm headlong and those who have looted Nigeria silly are falling sick by the day once their cases come to public knowledge.

According to Usnews.com, Nigeria sits comfortably at the top of the corruption indices in 2017, overtaking countries like South Sudan and Somalia.
But as much as the government is doing all it can to battle corruption to a standstill, the malaise has refused to abate as every other day, monumental amounts of money are being recovered but sadly, no one has been prosecuted so far and sent to jail.
A few days ago, the sum of $9,772,800 and £74,000 was recovered from the Kaduna State home of former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Andrew Yakubu, by the EFCC.
Before now, mind-boggling amounts have been traced to the likes of former National Security Adviser (NSA), SamboDasuki, former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke and her cronies, former PDP spokesman, Olisah Metuh, Musiliu Obanikoro, Femi Fani-Kayode, and so many others.
But the sad thing is that none of these people have been prosecuted successfully and convicted yet.
All we hear is how they are returning the stolen monies, though no one is yet to see the returned funds neither have they had any effect on the generality of Nigerians.
Some people have even concluded that the fight against corruption is selective as no member of the ruling APC who was in the PDP has been indicted so far or if any is indicted, the government is quick to request for evidence to go after them.
Yes, the PDP regime was one of the most corrupt anyone has ever witnessed in the history of mankind but we all know that 70% of the present crop of APC members once held sway in the PDP before cross-carpeting.
The attitude of Nigerians to corrupt politicians is also not helping in the fight as supporters of any indicted person are quick to scream witch hunt.
Instead of condemning their acts, they are ready to march the streets in support of the very people who put them in the position they are in. They glorify the looters and some are even ready to die for them if anyone points out their crimes.
There is this erroneous belief that anyone who finds himself in the same position will also steal and that only the one who is caught is a thief.
Some misguided youths have embarked on marches for the likes of Patience Jonathan, claiming she is being embarrassed by the EFCC instead of allowing the law to take its course.

Those indicted have found it convenient to fall sick at this time just as the judiciary is not doing much to speed up the cases, leading to the debate for special courts to try corruption cases.
Until the fight is seen as holistic, there will always be insinuations and corruption will kill Nigeria.
