Another Young Hollywood Gone Lost? Paris Jackson in Hospital Over Botched Suicide Attempt

15-year old Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop king Michael Jackson was yesterday rushed to the hospital after she attempted to take her own life. Paris reportedly left a suicide note and slashed her arm with a meat cleaver. She is also said to have taken a large number of Motrin pills (painkillers) in addition to slashing her arm

Paris had earlier posted these cryptic tweets 'I wonder why my tears are salty' and 'yesterday, all my troubles seemed far away now it looks as though they're here to stay'. Police have since spoken with her mother, Debbie Rowe who has been spending some time with her and presumably would know the state of her mind.

Reports also state that Paris had thrown a fit after being denied the chance to go to a Marilyn Manson concert the night before the botched suicide.

Meanwhile the Jackson brothers Jackie, Marlon and Tito issued a statement to entertainment news site TMZ expressing gratitude for the out-pour of concern while also stating that Paris is safe and doing fine. Grandma Katherine's reps also issued a statement stating that Paris is doing fine and getting medical attention.

Paris Jackson will not be the first showbiz child to attempt suicide or have a rough growing up, several Hollywood children; past and present including Drew Barrymore, Angelina Jolie, Lisa-Marie Presley and in recent times Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes readily come to mind with either their suicide attempts or exploits with drugs and booze.
