Nigerians criticise First Lady over N1.2m designer cape
Many took to social media to protest Mrs Buhari's expensive clothing, saying she's insensitive to the plight of Nigerians.
The First Lady on Tuesday, October 18, on her way to Brussels, Belgium wore a $2,600 (N1.2m) Salvatore Ferragamo cape.
Many on social media have since condemned Mrs Buhari's knack for luxury fashion items amid economic recession. Some believe she is being insensitive to the plight of Nigerians.
According to her, she is billed to give the opening remark on "Women's Role in Global Security" at a forum in the European nation.
