Woman In Court For Stealing From Hubby

The woman has been accused of stealing the sum of N100,000 and an SUV from her estranged husband.

A woman, Ronke Abiola has been brought before a Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly stealing N100,000 and a N2.3m worth of items including an SUV from her estranged husband, Oladele Abiola

The lady who resides at No.15, Z.A William Road, Kay Farms Estate, Iju in Lagos, is presently facing a four-count charge of conspiracy, fraud, stealing and threat to life, before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State.

The prosecutor, Inspector Owolabi Akinlolu, told the court that the accused stole items, including laptop, wristwatches, cash and a N2.3 million Toyota Highlander jeep – all properties of Oladele Abiola, her estranged husband.

According to the prosecutor, the offences breached sections 56, 285, 288 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The woman has however pleaded not guilty and has been granted bail by the Chief Magistrate, Mr. Olatunbosum Abolarinwa in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
